Warren Chamber of Commerce Set to Launch in September

A group of local business leaders has set a target date of Sept. 26 for a kickoff meeting to begin building the local organization.

The group is forming as part of the Gateway Chambers of Commerce, and plans to host regular monthly meetings to encourage networking among members, and other special events to bolster local economic development.

Warren has been without a chamber or business and professional association for several years, since the Warren Business and Professional Association withered. The new chamber group will be supported by the larger chamber organization, and hopes to find its membership from among the township's professional and service businesses, in addition to local retailers.
