Watchung Hills Drops Football Game to Linden
Warriors move on to final season game next Friday night, also senior night.
The game started off right when the Watchung Hills Warriors faced the Linden Tigers on Friday night.
The Warriors received the opening kickoff and marched right down the field, ultimately scoring on a 2-yard rushing touchdown by senior Pat Campbell. Senior Anthony Carbajal kicked the extra point for a 7-0 Warriors lead.
However, for the rest of the night the Warriors managed sophomore Joe Ettore's field goal the rest of the way.
Meanwhile the Linden tigers put 17 points on the board in the second half and pulled ahead to reach a 17-10 victory.
The Warriors (5-3) next face a tough Ridge team (8-0) next Friday in what will be Senior Night at Tozier Field.
