Watchung Hills Drops Senior Night Game to Undefeated Ridge

Loss drops Warriors to 5-4 on the season.

It may have been Senior Night, but that couldn't stop the Watchung Hills Warriors from dropping their last game of the season to the undefeated Ridge Red Devils in a Friday night match-up that ended up going to the Devils, 42-6.

he Warriors had some strong wins this season, including a victory over Immaculata High School, but last Friday dropped a game to Linden even after placing first on the scoreboard.

Ridge opened up the scoring with a pass from Conor Hughes to Mike Dunsheath, the only points put on the board in the first quarter.

The teams battled each other for the remainder of the first quarter and into the second half when the Warriors scored that team's touchdown.

The stands were packed, however, with lines waiting for hot chocolate in frigid night air.
