Family Displaced by Fire Finds New Home, Still in Need of Donations

It's been a hard few weeks since a devastating fire on Sept. 19 destroyed the home of a Geiger Lane family — a blaze later determined to have started behind a couch in the home — that left them with virtually the shirts on their backs, and even the theft of what few items they managed to salvage and were donated early on. The Yusim family reportedly has been able to move into a rental in another town, said Jane Asch, Office of Emergency Management coordinator for Warren Township, but still is in need of many essentials.
